Trouble Remove Earpad In Icon Helmet

17.9.2009 - Power Point, Big Boody and grades 11 and 12

The motel people make it - for them very early - even eating in front of 7 clock, as every day and ate breakfast alone. Up to 2 workers and I am nobody, even the people of the house to sleep elsewhere.

The motel looks at the image perfectly and it is really nice. But it's a little older ... My school takes the first 5 minutes through a pine forest, how can it be noted that there were abundant forests, lakes and marshes - not dissimilar to our area.

this video I would not spare you! Now that is the upload worked from the choir loft in Tallinn. Since her through these!

Today was the first time, the 11th and 12 Classes and as with the other, I must say that they have received me very nice and friendly, probably because such a "native" is certainly a welcome change. That would be with us no different. I was with Power Point presentations about Austria (some history and geography), the forest area and points at me. Particularly funny they found the pictures of the theater. But by this idea, through various interviews and games for the beginners (like Big Boody - this is also a hit!) Is yet managed to turn it a bit. They are like our students shy when it comes to verbally in a foreign language they express.

To reply to the comment from Martin yesterday: Of course there are also men, but there are only 6 or 7 on the faculty, of which the director and deputy director of 4 / inside. And the girls are here a little more reserved than the boys, but you can still laugh. Generally, whether boys or Girls, it's nice to be well received and noted that they liked the hours. At today's meeting

teacher in a 20-minute break I was given the opportunity to thank you for inviting me to school and to praise the school system and the children and young people. I am happy to fulfill this task, because that's also true, and I sent greetings from Austria.

As previously described, the school consists of two houses, about 10 minutes apart. The students may eat in the dining hall staggered, and from our third up to 5 Hour for every 20 minutes for it. The food is free, there are alternately soup and dessert, the next day, a roast, etc. The older students may even go out to eat twice, if they wish.

Here are a relic from the Soviet period - the school bell.

The weather is excellent and I would have the saying "When angels travel ...." learned. ;-)

the rest of the day I spend again preparing, running and reading.

16.9.2009 - University of Tartu

Today was my shortest day of school, only 2 hours, which I designed with questions and interview the person. After the director of the school the German language sympathetic, they have more hours than necessary and can therefore share generously, meaning that there is an average group size of about 10 students there.

The first feedback I can offer that a very shy girl is gone after the hour as a teacher and thought it would have been a very interesting hour. And another D-class has complained, why did not they to Austrian teachers. Today I got another 3 hours to - the 12th Class of the colleague, which is 18-year-old, I'll know tomorrow.

After a running round I went, accompanied by Tiiu by bus to Tartu, which is about 25 km away University town. First we went to the German cultural institute and a lady showed us the beautiful spaces in which German teachers can borrow materials and there are German films, lectures and readings.

Then we met with Tiius daughter Helen, who had just returned from a Jus-lecture and take it did not lead me in excellent English by the city. Like their 17-year-old sister, she visited a very good high school here, what is on their extensive knowledge, even to the city of Tartu themselves noticed. So it is also one of the many students, the second largest city in Estonia.
It is teeming with young people and there are a cheerful mood. There are 20,000 students and many residents have done so, directly or indirectly with the universities.

is perhaps interesting to also trigger Tartu during the Soviet era, was screened for decades, because there was a military airport here. Only with the opening began to normalize life, and when many complain about low wages, no one wants the old days back.

Here is a photo of the beautiful town hall in Tartu.

Paint That Goes With Travertine

15.9.2009 - Day 1 in the Elva-school

The first day can be described as successful. I was equal to 5 hours a day. The school - in Estonia called each school, the 9th after the Level 3 more years to offer training as such - is split between two buildings, which is about 10 minutes apart. After the 3rd, 4th and 5 Hour there is a 20-minute breaks, so that all children can eat in shifts. A building is something new, one old and still very reminiscent of the communist era. The classes themselves are ok, but many are technically on the latest technical state of affairs: laptop or PC, where the teachers can log on to e-book, there are some projectors also.

Some pupils have me on the first day, although they still do not know me, in German, at least with "Hello," welcomed.

I have had now 17 years old and 13-year-old beginners to 15-year-old and up to something "special" boys game in the last hour were all quite open, so I could take them with a few games into the conversation and break the ice . Interestingly, the older students were less inhibited than the average, which had already 2 years of German lessons.

During a short visit in the Director's office I have a mug, a puzzle and an Estonia-Estonia-book presented (on E) to guest-gifts, which I thought was very nice.

After dinner I was even invited by Tiiu for coffee and cake and then went to the motel, where I resumed my 20m ² room. Before preparing for the next day I went running short and spent the rest of the time in my "suite", as there is in the 6,000-resident city is actually not really much to see. There is no center, only a "main street" where a few shops offer their wares. Many people go but the 25 km from Tartu, great in the next town.
