About the book:
what this book is about the passion for gardening. Robert Hock describes how he was infected by the virus and garden draws despite his young age from a wealth of experience. He has an unorthodox, almost playful approach to the garden and what is called the "green thumb". But there were setbacks along the way to success, which he describes as well. You learn from mistakes we know best.
Robert Hoeck designed Gardens, and has developed its own style. The photos of his gardens for this book, he himself has made. Here, too, shows his eye for detail and creative eye. First and foremost he is a passionate plant lovers and collectors. He tells us much about his favorite perennials, roses, columbines, passion flowers and all sorts of other, not always necessarily commonplace plants.
He is particularly proud of its diverse plant collections, which he has incorporated many a treasure. He spares no expense or effort to collect these wonderful plants from all parts of the country. In short, a special gardening book, by a man of whom we learn horticultural know-how and the enthusiasm we can be contagious. Not just a pleasure to read!
